NiteLine Confidential and Anonymous Helpline
The Counselling and Personal Development Service with the DCU Students’ Union in partnership with NiteLine.
NiteLine is an out-of-hours confidential and anonymous peer support listening and information service that is run by and for students from DCU, TCD, UCD, MU, TUD, NCSI, NCAD, DBS.

Content of a call remain strictly confidential between the caller and the volunteer they speak to. - Anonymous
Callers are not required to give their names or any other identifying details. - Non-judgmental
Volunteers are committed to providing an open and accepting atmosphere that is free from judgement. - Non-directive
Niteline volunteers will work though things with you but will not tell you what to do. - Run by students for students
NiteLine volunteers are screened and undertake a training programme based on the Samaritans model and run with the help of the College Counselling Services. Ongoing training and support for volunteers is also a priority.
