Transcripts of Results

A transcript is a formal statement of your examination results.

Undergraduate
All undergraduate students will receive Electronic Transcripts at the end of each formal stage of study.

An electronic transcript is a web based digital document that is electronically signed by the Director of Registry at DCU. This permanent digital document is a valid and tamper proof document in its digital form. It can be electronically shared as a digital document with anyone you authorise (e.g. employers or recruitment agencies).  These transcripts are issued automatically by the Registry and can be accessed through the link here: Electronic Transcripts

Upon completion of their programme of study, each student will receive a complete set of printed (hard copy) transcripts to complement their digital documents.

If you wish to request a transcript of provisional results during the year please see the instructions below on requesting a hard copy transcript.

Postgraduate - Taught
All taught postgraduate students will receive both electronic and printed transcripts upon completion of their programme of study.

Prior to transfer to DCU, these transcripts were reviewed in accordance with the relevant institution's quality standards and confirmed as consistent with those originally issued. If your original transcript was issued by Mater Dei Institute of Education, St. Patrick's College, Drumcondra, Our Lady of Mercy College, Carysfort Park, or if you were a DCU student prior to 1996, processing of your transcript may take 2-3 weeks to complete.
