DCU President
Professor Dáire Keogh began a ten-year term as President of Dublin City University, Ireland's 'University of Enterprise' in July 2020.
Professor Keogh, a Dubliner, is a distinguished historian who served as President of St Patrick’s College, Drumcondra until its Incorporation into DCU (2016). He has published extensively, on the history of popular politics, religion and education in Ireland.
He is a Fellow at the University Design Institute at Arizona State University and a founding member of the European Quality Assurance Register Committee. He is a member of the Irish Association of the Order of Malta.
Professor Keogh is a Chartered Director (IoD) and has served on a variety of boards, including the non-partisan Women for Election and the British Irish Chamber of Commerce. A passionate educator, he plays a leadership role across the sector. He is a Council member of the European University Association and Chairman of the Board of Management of Clongowes Wood College.
