What is a Changemaker?

The 4 Pillars
A Changemaker is someone with the skills and confidence to lead change in their home, school and community- or an active citizen.
The DCU CNS supports each child's identity as Changemakers, by developing DCU Changemaker Schools and exploring the development of school cultures which focuses on children's capacities as active citizens.
Changemaker schools are guided by 4 pillars: Empathy, Leadership, Creativity and Teamwork. 大发体育在线_大发体育-投注|官网 information can be found about each pillar here.

DCU Changemaker Schools Network - School Locations
What is the DCU Changemaker Schools Network?
The DCU Changemaker Schools Network is a social innovation initiative to help primary school teachers and students across Ireland to put in place and lead programmes of change in their respective schools and wider communities to address societal challenges.
The DCU CSN is an all-island network and currently has 46 primary schools spread across the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. In 2025 our network has grown from 28 schools to 46 schools. Take a look at our map to see where each of our Changemaker Schools are located.
