QQI FET (FETAC/PLC) 2025 Entry

The QQI FET route is a popular entrance route into most full-time undergraduate courses in DCU. You can view course entry requirements and number of places on each course below. Application is made through www.cao.ie

General Entry Requirements
- Full QQI/FET/FETAC Level 5 Award which must be achieved in one single sitting
- A minimum of five distinctions from the eight modules must be achieved
- *DC001 Early Childhood Education (QQI/FET Level 5 or Level 6 Award accepted for entry. For QQI FET Level 6, applicants can apply making a standard QQI FET application through CAO to compete for a place in Year 1 only. Those with QQI FET Level 6 may also apply for advanced entry. QQI FET Application Process
We guide you through the process of applying to DCU through QQI FET. Discover the entry requirements for each course and the number of places available in 2024 entry. Please note, please refer to the CAO website for entry requirement information. Course quotas may change year-on-year. Application is competitive and places are awarded on merit basis. We would encourage you to aim for all distinctions in your QQI FET Level 5 award as this gives you the best chance of competiting for a place on an undergraduate course in DCU.
