Glasnevin Campus
Security is operational 24 hours per day, 365 days a year.
Glasnevin Campus is a safe campus but, as in all urban areas, students are advised not to walk alone after dark and to take all normal precautions towards ensuring their own personal safety. DCU has its own private Security Service which aims to provide a safe and comfortable environment for staff and students at all times. The campus is further protected by a network of CCTV cameras, which keep records of the movements on campus at all times. In an emergency, call 5999 from any of the internal phones in the University or phone +353 1 700 5999 from a regular phone line. Should you wish to speak to a member of the Security staff, visit the Multi-storey car park which is manned 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The Security Office is located at the exit ramp of this car park.

St Patrick’s Campus
Security is operational 24 hours per day, 365 days a year.
The security base is located at the main vehicular entrance of the campus in the Gat Lodge. A pedestrian gate is operational at the main vehicular entrance and in the interests of the safety and security of all students, campus access maybe restricted within certain hours. Details of campus access will be posted on campus notice boards as appropriate.
