Student Financial Assistance Service

The Student Assistance Fund ??provides financial support to students who are experiencing short or long-term financial difficulties while attending higher education. It is co-funded by the Irish Government and the European Social Fund as part of the ESF Programme for Employability, Inclusion and Learning 2014-2020.

Established by the Department of Education & Skills to support implementation of the National Plan for Equity of Access to Higher Education 2015-2019. Offered to undergraduates experiencing socio-economic disadvantage who are commencing third level education for the first time.
