Registration for Academic Year 2024/2025
Programmes Starting in January 2025
Students who start their programme in January 2025 will Register from Tuesday 7th January.
You will receive an onboarding email on Tuesday, 7th January which will enable you to begin the process.
Depending on the date you try to register, there are 2 separate processes - please read the information below carefully:
7th January to 12th January 2025
Online registration for January start programmes will open on Tuesday, 7th January and close on 12th January

13th January - 24th January 2025
From 13th January if you have not registered online, then please complete the following form in order for a member of Registry to assist you in registering

DCU opened registration on the new platform 'DCU Key' on 15th August 2024. Students received an email inviting them to register on a phased basis.
All students should now have received an invitation to register for 24/25. If you have not received an invitation to register please contact us using our query form link below:

SEMESTER ONE
Module Changes are permitted up to Friday, 20th September 2024
Changes to your optional Semester 1 and Year Long modules, can be made through this link (/DCUkey) until 4pm Friday, 20th September
Students CANNOT make changes to Core modules. No further module changes to Semester 1 or Year Long modules will be permitted after that date.
PLEASE NOTE IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE YOU ARE REGISTERED CORRECTLY FOR YOUR QUALIFICATION AND FOR THE CORRECT NUMBER OF MODULES AND CREDITS EACH ACADEMIC YEAR
SEMESTER TWO CHANGE OF MODULE PERIOD
2pm, Monday 13th January to 4pm, Friday 17th January 2025

DCU Registration Terms and Conditions
DCU students must agree to the Terms and Conditions of the University prior to registering for their programme of study each academic year. To view the Terms and Conditions of the University please click HERE.
Late Autumn Registration & Deferred Students of Final Year Masters Programmes
Students who received their results on Friday 1st November may now need to Register for 2024/25.
You will receive an invitation to register on Wednesday 6th November where you will be able to select your modules for 24/25.
For students who already registered in September for Semester 1 modules and now need to add Semester 2 modules - please use the following form to request registration

When completing this form, in the 'other information' box, please insert 'I am a late Autumn Registration following November Exam Results'
