DCU Placement
Placement at DCU encompasses the coordination and management of DCU student placements with third party organisations, along with placements facilitated in DCU for students of partner institutions.
The placement facilitates learning which is accredited or recognised by DCU, or a partner institution.
Placement includes workplace-based learning, which may be discipline specific, and learning in partner academic institutions, both nationally and globally.
DCU Placement has been created to bring together the professional staff who support DCU students undertaking any recognised placement related activity such as internship, or international mobility. We aim to empower students to be the best they can be, by delivering a transformative educational and life-enhancing experience.
Vision
Our vision is to offer a transformative and life-enhancing experience through comprehensive placement opportunities, including internships and international exchange mobility. By partnering with leading global organisations and academic institutions, we aim to provide our students with unparalleled exposure to diverse professional environments and cultures. These opportunities are designed to enhance their practical skills, broaden their perspectives, and foster a global mindset, preparing them to excel in their chosen careers and become impactful leaders in an interconnected world.
