National Flags of Ireland and India
Notwithstanding the obvious differences, Ireland and India are both global economies with congruent interests and complementarities in several areas including business, diplomacy, science & technology, the role of the diaspora and education.
As the only English-speaking member of the European Union, Ireland is a growing destination for Indian students seeking an international education and job experience within the EEA. For Ireland, the bilateral relationship with India has become all the more important following the publication of the Government of Ireland’s Asia Pacific Strategy: Global Ireland 2025 Asia Pacific Strategy.
