Storyfest

On the 14th and 15th March 2018, the Drama team, School of Arts Education and Movement hosted Storyfest for the third consecutive year. This year, the highly acclaimed storyteller Clare Muireann Murphy worked with students from B. Ed 1, children from local schools and from the surrounding community as well as staff of the Institute to explore the skills that are at the heart of both storytelling and teaching. The event was very well attended and students and staff alike were inspired by Clare's vivacious style and her knowledge of the rich potential of storytelling in the education context.
