Dr. Liting Zhou is an Assistant Professor based in the School of Computing at Dublin City University. She completed her PhD in Computer Science at Dublin City University under the supervision of Dr. Cathal Gurrin, where she specialized in the field of multimedia and information retrieval. Dr. Zhou has published her research in several high-impact conferences and journals in her field, including ECIR and MMM. She has served as reviewer for several top-tier conferences and journals in multimedia and computer science. She also worked as demo chair and TPC chair in some international conferences including MMM 2023-2024, ECIR 2023.
Dr. Liting Zhou's research interests lie in the areas of multimedia analysis and retrieval, with a particular focus on video understanding, deep learning, Natural Language Processing, Educational Technology and human-computer interaction. Her work aims to develop effective and efficient algorithms for analyzing and retrieving multimedia data that can be applied in various domains such as education, healthcare.
