DCU PPI Ignite Discussion Groups

Discussion groups A series of discussion groups were held between November 2018-May 2019. The purpose of these groups was to develop a plan for how we will support PPI in DCU health and social care research. The plan was based on what we know works in supporting PPI alongside the views, opinions and suggestions of attendees. Facilitated by Liam MacGabhann, attendees included members of the public, patients, researchers, clinicians and policy leaders together. Each discussion group focused on a different question and part of the plan to support PPI. Questions included: - What do you need for PPI in your health and social care research? - What does a framework and resources for PPI in DCU H&SCR need to include? - What do you think about the draft framework for PPI in DCU? - What do we need to do to implement and evaluate the plan for PPI in DCU? - What do you think about draft implementation and evaluation plans for PPI in DCU?
