Pensions | Retiring from DCU - Support for retired staff
Retirement marks the culmination of a dedicated career, but it also signifies the beginning of a new chapter in life.
At DCU we recognise and deeply value the contribution of our staff members throughout their years of service. As you transition into retirement, we remain committed to ensuring your well-being and continued connection to the university community.
We believe the expertise and experiences of retired staff members are invaluable. That’s why we offer services and resources tailored to meet their diverse needs and preferences – we want to foster your sense of belonging and engagement even beyond your active employment.

Transitioning into retirement can be both exciting and challenging.
