Conference of Irish Geographers 2016
Conference of Irish Geographers 2016
Theme: Memory, identity and landscape - Geographical perspectives
St Patrick’s Campus, DCU
5 – 7th May, 2016
With the ‘Decade of Centenaries’ gathering reaching its highpoint, the Conference of Irish Geographers 2016 will focus on geographical perspectives of memory, identity and landscape. The conference highlights how the changing geographies of space and place encapsulate historical, current and future geographies, leading to the holistic integration of all parts of the discipline. The conference will examine, assess and critically evaluate possibilities for geographical reintegration. We welcome papers on this and other themes in Geography.
Organised by Geography Department (DCU School of History & Geography) in association with the Geographical Society of Ireland.
