PhD Scholarship on the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence
The Institute of Ethics at Dublin City University is inviting applications for a four year fully funded (stipends & registration fees) PhD position focused on the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence.
- Deadline application: November 30th, 2022
- Interviews with shortlisted candidates: December 5th - 9th
- Start date PhD: February 1st 2023
You are free to choose a topic within the general area of AI ethics. Examples of eligible topics are machine consciousness and synthetic phenomenology, autonomous systems, artificial moral agents, social impacts, machine ethics, automated decision systems, algorithmic bias, language models, AGI, superintelligence, privacy, surveillance, and opacity. Of course, there are many other eligible topics.
