I¡¯ve always enjoyed problem solving whether it was maths in school or building my own project at home. I realised that I had a love for coding and designing and writing code to make websites and games. However, I really enjoyed programming physical projects that I could hold in my hands and that¡¯s how I knew that Electronic and Computer Engineering was the course for me.

I chose DCU engineering because I knew that I¡¯d be learning new skills and technical knowledge through practical means. This has really cemented my knowledge and, most importantly, my confidence in my problem solving skills and puts me in a great and prepared position as I enter the workplace.

All of my modules are industry relevant and teach us about cutting edge innovations in the field while also ensuring we have a strong baseline knowledge to work from. 

Electronic and Computer Engineering in DCU provides the perfect environment for anyone with a love of problem solving to thrive.
