Orientation location and time:

DCU Access Orientation takes place before the main DCU orientation.   The 2024 Access Orientation programme took place on the following dates:

  • Thursday 5th September: DCU St Patrick's Campus, Drumcondra.  For first years registered with the Access Services and studying on St Patrick's Campus.

  • Friday 6th September: DCU Glasnevin Campus.  All 1st years registered with the Access Services and studying on Glasnevin Campus.

What is the Access Orientation?

The key objective of the Access Orientation Programme is to assist students in making the transition into the third-level learning environment. There is an emphasis on making friends, getting to know the DCU campus, DCU Access staff, and all the support the university has to offer.
