    “But for a Dream”

    A POETIC DIALOGUE with 1916

This event commemorates 1916 through poetic dialogue. Our distinguished panel of poets will share their thoughts, ideas, and creative reflections on a selection of poems from the time of the Easter Rising. Moderated by Vincent Woods, the event engages with the ideals of freedom, heroism and independence, but also with the concepts of violence and loss that characterised artistic expression of the era.

    • Harry Clifton
    • Medbh McGuckian
    • Eiléan Ní Chuilleanáin
