Rabbi Debbie Young-Somers


Rabbi Young-Somers is the Community Educator for Reform Judaism. She has over 20 years’ experience as an Interfaith activist, facilitator and writer. She has contributed chapters to 3 interfaith books and numerous journals and magazines, broadcasts regularly on BBC local radio and on Radio 2’s “Pause for Thought.” She has worked for the CCJ UK and chaired the International CCJ Youth Council many years ago! She currently teaches World Religion and Interfaith Encounter to student Rabbis at Leo Baeck College, Jewish Christian relations in numerous Christian seminaries and Judaism to trainee RE teachers. She is married to Gary and they have two children.
