    Week 1: 

    Information Session about the PGT Career Skills Programme of 大发体育在线_大发体育-投注|官网 and Digital Badge

    Join this session to learn more about the programme of events for postgraduate students during semester 2 and to learn how to get the PGT Career Skills Digital Badge - the very first of its kind in DCU!

    CV Writing Workshop for Postgraduates with Less than 3 Years Experience

    CV Workshop for postgraduates with under 3 years' experience—ideal for those entering the job market or advancing in their field with a master's degree.

    CV Writing Workshop for Postgraduates with 3+ Years Experience

    CV Workshop for postgraduates with 3 or more years of experience – ideal for those looking for direct entry into the job market into mid/senior level positions in similar or new career areas.

    Join HR representatives and recent graduates from PwC as they deliver a workshop to help you get ready for your internship interviews! This session is appropriate for those entering the job market for the first time.

    Join this online session with LinkedIn to learn how to prepare for and excel at interviews. This session is ideal for entry level graduates and those with minimal experience.

    Experienced Hire Interview Workshop with Morgan McKinley

    Learn about interviewing techniques and what to expect for experienced hire roles in Ireland from Trayc Keevans from Morgan McKinley. Hear from Trayc about the trends in the market on recruitment processes, CV screening, and interview styles.

    Visa Talk and Networking Q&A with Fragomen

    Join Fragomen for a Visa Talk from 10am-10:50am and a Networking Q&A from 11am-11:50am around understanding your visa including insights and advice.

    Learn how to write motivational cover letters that will stand out in the Irish job market.

    Alumni Presentations and Networking (Industry Focus)

    Hear from past international alumni from different industries about their career journey since leaving DCU. These alumni will provide insights and tips around their career path into their current roles through short talks.

    The following alumni will be speaking at the event:

    • Nikita Awasthi, Masters in Digital Marketing Graduate from 2023. Currently a Digital Marketing Co-ordinator at ESRI Ireland.
    • Kirthy Francis, Masters in Computing (Data Analytics) Graduate from 2020. Currently a Senior Data Analyst at EY.
    • Ziyi (Ian) Zhang, Masters in Translation Technology Graduate from 2024. Currently a Globalization Technical Project Manager at Zoetis.

    General Skills Session: CVs for Successful Job Searching

    Join us for this skills session which will offer insights and tips on how to build your CV effectively so you can get to the next stage in recruitment and selection processes. We will cover tailoring your CV for specific roles, utilising AI to help with applications and how you can find different types of opportunities to apply to whether you want to apply for graduate programmes, entry level roles or experienced hire opportunities.
