Dublin City University has very active research collaboration links with a number of prestigious Chinese universities particularly in the Information and Communications Technology area.
Students from Wuhan University check into DCU accommodation
DCU is ranked amongst the top 300 universities worldwide by the Times Higher Education Supplement. It currently has over 10,000 registered students, including over 300 Chinese students, across undergraduate, postgraduate and research programmes.
The School of Electronic Engineering in DCU and the International School of Software in Wuhan University have jointly established a successful collaborative Masters program in 2006. The School has also research collaboration with Tsinghua University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) and Hangzhzou Dianzi University (HDU). The School has hosted visiting academic staff from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT) and China Three Gorges University (CTGU) for between six months and one year..
